Center for Education and Human Resource Development (CEHRD) Requests Admission Process for Class 11 Only After SEE Results

The Center for Education and Human Resource Development (CEHRD) has urged schools to delay admissions to class 11 until the results of Secondary Education Examination Class 10 (SEE) are published. This change has been made to ensure fair and equal opportunities for all students.

Previous Admission Practices

In previous years, many schools have been enrolling students in class 11 before the SEE results were announced. These schools have been luring students by offering various incentives, which has caused an uneven playing field for students from different backgrounds.

New Admissions Policy

In the upcoming academic session, CEHRD has requested that schools only start the admission process for class 11 after the SEE results have been published. This new policy will create a level playing field for all students, and ensure that their admission is based on merit alone.

Impact on Schools

This new policy has caused some schools to adjust their admissions schedule. Some schools have traditionally started their admission process in April/May, but now they will have to wait until the SEE results are published.

SEE Examination Details

The SEE exam for this year will be held from March 31 to April 12, 2023. As soon as the examination is over, some schools have been known to proceed with their admission process for class 11. However, this year, schools have been instructed to wait for the SEE results before proceeding with the admissions process.

Overall, the CEHRD's decision to delay admissions to class 11 until after the SEE results are published will create a more fair and equitable admissions process for all students. This change will ensure that students are admitted based on merit alone and not on their ability to take advantage of incentives offered by some schools.
