Criteria for Admission in Class 11:

Admission for higher education is based on the subjects studied in class 11 and 12. The grade and GPA obtained in SEE is used as the basis for admission in class 11. There is a criterion for enrollment in the science group based on a high GPA and grade in a certain subject. Students will be admitted in class 11 on the basis of SEE results.

Here are the criteria for admission in class 11:

Group 1 - Science

There is a provision to bring at least GPA 2 and C Plus in Science and Mathematics to be admitted in class 11 for studying Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, or Computer Science and Agriculture subjects of Science Group. Similarly, minimum D + is required in English, Nepali, and social studies.

Group 2 - Technical subjects

The minimum GPA for Animal Science / Plant Science, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Computer Engineering subjects of Vocational Group should be 1.6. Thematic grades have not been determined.

Group 3

Mathematics, Geography, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, Teaching Math, Psychology, Elements of Economics, Astrology, Co-operative Management, Business Studies, Business Maths are required to bring a minimum GPA of 1.6. D + has to be brought in English, Nepali, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.

Group 4

A minimum GPA of 1.6 should be brought for Physics Education, Chemistry Education, Biology Education, Teaching Science. Must have brought D + in English, Nepali, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.

Group 5

A minimum GPA of 1.6 is required to study English, Alternative English, Teaching English, and Linguistics. Must have minimum D + in English, Nepali, and Social Studies.

Group 6

A minimum GPA of 1.6 is required for hotel management, travel, and tourism studies. Must have minimum D + in English, Nepali, Mathematics, and Social Studies.

Group 7

For Nepali, teaching Nepali, the minimum GPA should be 1.6. Must have brought minimum D + in English, Sanskrit, Nepali, and Social Studies.

Group 8

A minimum GPA of 1.6 is required for history, politics, culture, home science, sociology, philosophy, library and information science, rural development studies. Must have brought minimum D + in English, Nepali, Social Studies.

Group 9

A minimum GPA of 1.6 is also required for Introduction to Education, Instructional Pedagogy, Health and Physical Education, Population Studies, Environment Education. There are minimum D-plus criteria in English, Nepali, Science, Health, Population, and Environment for the study of these subjects.

Group 10

There is a minimum GPA of 1.6 for Sanskrit grammar, literature, justice, Vedas, ethics, Buddhist education, and law studies. Must have brought minimum D + in English, Sanskrit, Nepali, Social Studies.

Group 11

Must have a minimum GPA of 1.6 for Mass Media, Human Value Education, and Law Studies, and at least D Plus for English, Nepali, and Social Studies.

Group 12

Maithili, Hindi, Newari, French, Japanese, Urdu, German, Chinese, and other language studies with a minimum GPA of 1.6 and a minimum D + in English are available for admission.

Group 13

Must have a minimum GPA of 1.6 in Dance, Music, Sculpture, Painting, Applied Arts, Sports, and other subjects and a minimum D + in English.
