Gandaki University, Gandaki Pradesh, Pokhara, Nepal Online Admission Open for Bachelor in Information Technology (BIT) and Bachelor in Sports Management (BSM)
For the academic year 2078-2079, the application and admission program for the Nepali citizens who want to study in the undergraduate level programs conducted at Gandaki University, Pokhara, Kaski, and who have reached the required minimum educational qualification is informed as follows.
The application form can be filled online by visiting the website of the university. The application should be accompanied by a certificate of educational qualification, certificate of citizenship, citizenship certificate, a recent passport size photograph, and a sample of the applicant's signature.
In addition, applicants who have passed the certificate level from a university or institution outside Nepal will have to submit a certificate of parallel assessment.
Minimum Qualification Required:
A) Bachelor in Information Technology (BIT): The concerned student should have obtained SEE-Secondary Education Examination or similar degree and class 11/12 (National Education Board: NEB) examination conducted in Nepal in any subject or similar subject at least second division (above 50 percent) or Achieved C+ Grade or 2.0 CGPA, or A-Level in Examination from Cambridge University, or Diploma in any subject conducted by Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) Nepal, or Accredited by Gandaki University, or Accredited by other Universities of Nepal. Must have obtained Intermediate Level, or equivalent degree from a college or academic institution.
B) Bachelor in Sports Management (BSM): The concerned student should have obtained SEE-Secondary Education Examination or similar degree and class 11/12 (National Education Board: NEB) examination conducted in Nepal in any subject or similar subject at least second division or Achieved D Grade, or 2.0 CGPA, or A-Level in Examination from Cambridge University, or Diploma in any subject conducted by Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) Nepal, or Accredited by Gandaki University, or Accredited by other Universities of Nepal. Must have obtained Intermediate Level, or equivalent degree from a college or academic institution.
Deadline to Apply Online:
The application form can be filled online by logging on to www.gandakiuniversity.edu.np from 23 June 2021 to 26 July 2021. If there is any difficulty in the online application process, technical assistance can be obtained by contacting [email protected]. The online application should be accompanied by a well-scanned eCopy of the prescribed documents and certificates. The prescribed documents for the quota should be attached to the application. No action will be taken on the online application which is not duly and completely filled.
Application and Entrance Examination Fee:
To apply for the BIT or BSM undergraduate program conducted under this university, one has to pay Rs.2000 (only two thousand in letters) online from eSewa. Eligible and interested applicants can apply for one or both of the BIT or BSM programs. Each event will have to pay a separate online form and fee. The above fee will not be refunded in case the application is not sent properly or for any other reason.
The list of candidates will be published on the website at least two days before the date of conducting the examination by the Admission Committee after inspecting the applications received after fulfilling the minimum qualifications.
Candidates should be able to collect their admission papers from the examination committee before the entrance examination. The Student Admission Committee will do all the necessary work related to the entrance examination for the admission of students. The results of the entrance examination will be taken on the same date as the examination is conducted.
