Agriculture and Forestry University (AFU), Faculty of Forest Sciences, Office of the Dean admission open for MSc in Forestry for the academic year 2078/079, online application is required from the students who have reached the minimum educational qualification required for those who want to study in the postgraduate level educational program (MSc Forestry) conducted at the Agriculture and Forestry University (AFU), Faculty of Forest Sciences, Hetauda, Makwanpur.
The level of recruitment program is as follows. The applicant should enclose the online application form with his educational qualification certificate, certificate of citizenship, certificate of citizenship, bank voucher and a recent passport size photograph showing both ears as well as scanning of the applicant's signature.
Applicants who have passed SLC, Certificate Level, Bachelor Level or equivalent from a University or Educational Institution other than a University and Educational Institution established by the Government of Nepal must have Equivalence Certificate and Equivalence Certificate and Certificate or Provisional Certificate. 1) Minimum educational qualification required: B.Sc. (Forestry) or similar examination must be passed. If the application form is filled without qualification, the application form will be disqualified and the applicant will not be included in the entrance examination.
2) Application Form and Entrance Examination Fee: The entrance examination fee is fixed at Rs. 3,000 (three thousand rupees). The amount can also be deposited in the name of "FOF Entrance Examination" at Siddhartha Bank Limited, Narayangadh branch on Call Deposit Number 00815264324 from eSewa, ConnectIPS and other banks' Mobile Banking App. The full name of the applicant and his / her own mobile number must be written in the name of the depositor in the bank voucher. Deposits in the name of more than one applicant on the same mobile number will not be accepted. When depositing money through online, you have to deposit only after confirming the faculty.
3) Application Form Filling Period: The online application form can be filled from the website of this university www.entrance.afu.edu.np till 12:00 pm on the 10th of Magh 2078. If there is any difficulty in the online application process, technical assistance can be obtained by contacting [email protected]. No action will be taken on the online application which has not been filled properly. To get the ticket, the applicant has to download and print it through the online portal.
4) No action will be taken on the application form and other documents sent through any medium other than Online Application. Also, if any documents are not received for any reason, the amount deposited in the bank will not be refunded.
5) Entrance Exam Date, Time and Place: 2078 Magh 15 will be conducted in the Faculty of Science, Hetauda.
6) Examination Results Publication: Examination results will be published on Saturday, Magh 15, 2078 and the information can be obtained by visiting www.afu.edu.np.
7) Admission will start: from Sunday 16th Magh, 2078.
8) Basis of Admission: The list for admission will be published according to the merit list prepared by giving 90 percent weight to the entrance examination and 10 percent to the marks obtained at the graduation level. The pass mark in the entrance test will be 40 percent.
9) A question paper of entrance examination will be prepared by including a total of 90 questions in the following subjects from the undergraduate level curriculum and all the questions will be of Multiple Choice Objective Type, for which 70 minutes time will be given. The subjects to be included in the entrance examination and the number of questions will be as follows.

(c) Forest Ecology - 5
(d) Agroforestry - 5
(e) Forest Protection - 5
(f) Community Forestry - 10
(g) Soil Conservation - 10
(h) Forest Utilization - 10

j) Wildlife and Planning and Management of National Parks and Protected Areas - 10
(k) Forest Mensuration, Biometrics and Research - 10
10) Admission Quota Details: The following candidates will be taken on the basis of merit in M.Sc. Forestry level.

As per the MOU signed between the University of Agriculture and Forest Sciences, Faculty of Forest Sciences and the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Forest and Environment, the nominees will be included in the UDF quota and will be continued. If the admission of the students admitted on the basis of merit is canceled or done, another student will be admitted according to the merit qualification of those who have passed the entrance examination in the vacancy.
11) Necessary documents and certificates to be submitted for admission: All the documents and certificates attached with the application for admission must be submitted in full. Documents and certificates to be submitted at the time of admission:

P.S .: The applicant or parent should contact the Educational Administration Branch of the Faculty in person by submitting the admission fee in the Financial Administration Branch of the Dean's Office within the prescribed date and time along with all the above original documents.
At the time of admission, the documents submitted at the time of application and the original certificates brought along will be verified. If any document is incomplete or details are found to be false or if any document is found to be forged then the application process of such applicant will be canceled.
12) Students who have obtained certificate from other university or educational institution must submit original copy of Migration Certificate at the time of AFU registration in Agriculture and Forest Science University. If there is a problem in registering AFU without submitting the Migration Certificate at that time, the University will not take responsibility for it.
13) The amount required for thesis research should be provided by the student himself.
14) Hostel facilities will not be available to the enrolled students.

16) Only students who have at least 70 (seventy) percent attendance in the theoretical and experimental classes of each subject will be considered eligible for the regular examination of the semester.
