Pre-Diploma Level Full Paying Admission

Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Examination Control Office, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur Urgent notice regarding filling up of application form for full fee admission in Pre-Diploma (Former Technical SLC) level in the academic year 2078-079.

The pre-diploma level educational programs conducted by the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training have been approved by the Council Examination Control Office in the academic session 2078-079 BS. Due to Covid 19 of the Directive 2077 (First Amendment 2078) on "Conducting Pre-Diploma Level Entrance Examination, Scholarship Distribution, and Admission.

This notice has been published for the information of all those who are eligible to select the students towards full fee as per the special arrangement regarding admission in this academic year (by 23rd Bhadra 2078 BS) following the health-related criteria prescribed by the Government of Nepal and filling up the application form electronically. 

Students who have passed the SEE / SLC level are requested to be selected according to the program and quotas based on the marks obtained in the transcripts submitted by them.

It is also requested to study the admission guideline at www.ctevt.org.np as it is mentioned in the detailed guideline 2077 (First Amendment 2078) on conducting pre-diploma level entrance examination, scholarship distribution, and admission.

Eligibility Criteria: Prior to the implementation of the alphabetical system, S.L.C. Or pass a similar test. Or S.E.E. in any grade after the alphabetical system is implemented. Passed the exam.

2) Full fee Paying target class quota

A) Disabled, ex-Kamaiya / Haliya, backward remote area, Dalit, Women, Adivasi-Janajati, Muslim, Madhesi and Jana Andolan / People's War / Madhes Andolan / Conflict Victims / Displaced / Martyred Families / Injured A target fee quota of 10 percent of the sanctioned quota has been fixed for each educational program.

B) Candidates who have studied in community government or private schools will be able to participate in this target group. Candidates in this quota will be selected on the basis of the highest marks of SEE by competing among all the target groups mentioned. Candidates who fill-up the form in the full fee targeted category quota will not be allowed to compete in the full fee open quota.

3) Full fee Paying open quota

A) Vacant seats except scholarship and target group will fall under this quota. Anyone in this quota will be able to fill the application form.

4) Meritious Scholarship:

Jehendar Scholarship will be awarded to the one who gets the highest marks among the candidates selected from the full fee target class quota and full fee open quota who have filled the application form for admission in each educational institution. Students receiving scholarships in this way will not be allowed to charge any fee other than food and lodging. 5. Documents to be submitted along with the application

A) Two color photographs of recent passport size (35mmx45mm) showing a clear face. (The name on the back of the photo and the program you want to study should be clearly written)

B) Copy of SLC / SEE or similar educational qualification certificate.

C) A copy of the letter of equivalence determined by the body designated by the Government of Nepal in case of passing SLC or similar examination from a country other than Nepal.

D) Candidates who are included in the full fee target class quota should submit a copy of the documents as prescribed to the candidates of the class specified in point no. 11 of the guideline 2077 (first amendment) regarding admission.

6) Selection Process:

Due to the global impact of Covid 19, a large number of students are present in one place and the situation is not conducive to conduct the entrance examination and other programs.

A) The concerned school will collect the application form from the applicants who have reached the minimum qualification as specified in the notice. While collecting the application form, it is mandatory to follow the health related criteria prescribed by the Government of Nepal. For which the concerned educational institutions will have to use electronic medium.

B) To enter the application forms in the Web Based Online Integrated Training Management System (ITMS) provided by the Council, Examination Controller's Office within the period specified in the notification by the concerned school. After the online entry form is approved by the Examination Control Office, the admission permission number of the examinee will be maintained and only the examinees who have the permission number will have to be included in the list of qualifications.

C) To form the following result preparation sub-committee in each school.

A) Principal - Coordinator of the concerned school

B) The employee in charge of education of the concerned municipality or the employee representative -member appointed by the municipality

E) Instructor or Staff -Member Secretary designated by the concerned Board of Directors

D) Fill in the application form within the date fixed by the sub-committee. To prepare the main candidate, alternate candidate and passing list with admission permit number by determining the qualification order according to the highest marks obtained in When preparing the list in this way, if the score is equal, it will be maintained as follows.

A) Entrance Examination or S.E.E. If the score is equal to, the one who gets the highest score / grade / grade point of compulsory mathematics will be given first priority.

B) If the highest marks of compulsory mathematics are also equal, to determine the qualification list on the basis of the highest marks / grades / grade points obtained in compulsory science and compulsory English respectively.

E) To prepare a merit list on the basis of single women, women, Dalit, Adivasi / Janajati, Muslim, Madhesi, backward and remote areas if the marks are equal as per points (a) and (b) above.

E) To prepare qualification list by maintaining seniority on the basis of date of birth of the applicant if the marks are equal even as per points (a), (b) and (e) above.

E) To prepare and publish the results according to the qualification order and to send the results within a week at most from the date of publication of the results to the council, state office and examination control office under the state where the school is located.

F) Mandatory posting of preparation results on the website and information board of the school concerned and on the notice board of the concerned municipal office and ward office.

G) Candidates who have not filled the online application form within the stipulated time will not be admitted. If the candidates who have not filled the online application form within the stipulated time are admitted, such students will not be registered and the entire responsibility will fall on the principal of the school concerned.
