Overview
Laligurans Rastriya College (LRC) offers Ten Plus Two (+2) in Humanities program affiliated with National Examination Board (NEB), Nepal. The program aims to equip students with knowledge and skills in various fields of humanities such as history, culture, geography, economics, sociology, political science, psychology, and literature.
The duration of the program is two years, and it is divided into two parts: Part 1 (grade 11) and Part 2 (grade 12). The students have to study compulsory subjects like Nepali, English, and Social Studies in both grades, while elective subjects like History, Economics, Psychology, Sociology, and Rural Development can be chosen by the students based on their interests and future aspirations.
The teaching methodology at LRC is based on discussion, explanation, illustration, communicative, pair-work, group-work, case study, project work, and guest lectures. The college also conducts various co-curricular activities to enhance students' skills and talents in different areas of their interest.
Upon completion of the program, students can pursue higher studies in various fields of humanities such as social work, psychology, sociology, history, geography, economics, political science, and literature. They can also pursue a career in fields like teaching, research, journalism, civil services, NGOs, social work, and so on.
