17th Edition of Pulsar Sports Award to be Virtually Organized:

Nepal Sports Journalists Forum has entered into an agreement with Dish Media Network Limited as the main co-sponsor for the 17th edition of Pulsar Sports Award. Dish Media has been collaborating for the award for a long time. As per the agreement reached in the capital on Wednesday, Dish Media will provide Rs 1.1 million in cash and in-kind for the Pulsar Sports Awards. The winners of the award will get 13 setup boxes with a 2-year recharge from Dishhome and 20 setup boxes with a one-year recharge for 20 nominees from Dish Media.

Managing Director of Dish Media Network Sudip Acharya informed that an agreement has been reached to provide services worth Rs. 700,000 and the remaining Rs. 400,000. ‘This award has made a great contribution to the promotion and development of Nepali sports. That is why we have given continuity to the sponsorship agreement, "said Acharya." If the award program is fixed, everyone will take the award program as a celebration. "First Vice President of the forum Sanjeev Silpkar thanked Dish Media for continuing the collaboration for the Pulsar Sports Awards.

This year's Pulsar Sports Award Poush will be held on the 28th of Poush (12th January 2021) in a semi-virtual form. Nominations for the People's Choice category for the awards, which will be given in 10 categories, were made public last week. Gaurika Singh of swimming, Aruna Shahi of volleyball, Savitra Bhandari of football, Mandekaji Shrestha of karate and Sadina Shrestha of basketball are in the competition. For this, everyone will be able to vote from the e-Sewa app.
