Concrete Bridge Design Training / Workshop on Limit State Method:
Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) is providing Technical Assistance (TA) to the Government of Nepal (GoN) through the Department of Local Infrastructure (DoLI) under Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration (MoFAGA) for the implementation of the Local Roads Bridge Programme (LRBP) in all 7 states of Nepal.
AF- Iteco AG, Switzerland (AF-Iteco), on behalf of SDC provides Technical Assistance (TA) through its TA team.
To keep abreast of the change in the bridge design codes of Indian Road Congress, Local Roads Bridge Support Unit (LRBSU) is organizing a 5 days Bridge Design Training/Workshop on Limit State Method.
This workshop is specifically directed towards bridge design engineers from consulting firms/individuals, academicians (who are supervising Bridge Project groups in engineering college) and LRBSU Bridge engineers. Interested persons with Bachelor in Civil Engineering and with at least some experiences of designing RCC bridges are requested to apply via email to Irbp@lrbpnepalsorg with the following documents within December 08, 2019.

Venue: Lalitpur / Kathmandu (Exact venue location will be informed later)
The participants, fulfilling the minimum criteria, will be selected on a first come first serve basis. Female engineers are highly encouraged to apply.
Selected engineers will be informed and requested to deposit the registration fee of NRs 2000.00
