Biratnagar-based Everest Education Foundation is going to organize 'Everest Carnival'. In a press conference on Tuesday, it was informed that 'Everest Carnival' will be organized for the first time from 10th to 12th February 2023 within the premises of Everest College.
Tikaram Puri, the founder principal of Everest School, informed that parents' day will also be celebrated for two days during the carnival. According to him, the first day will be celebrated between the students from group to class 5 and their parents. The students of the program will also present their art.
Similarly, on the second day, preparations are being made to celebrate Parents' Day in the presence of students from classes 6 to 12 and their parents, Puri said. Likewise, a planetarium that can be viewed by 100 people at a time will be kept as an attraction of the carnival.
More than 50 projects related to science, mathematics and management subjects prepared by the students will be exhibited. Principal Puri informed that 18 stalls will be kept in the college premises.
The stalls will have exhibitions of various research projects, art exhibitions, mini museums and more. The carnival will run daily from 9 am to 5 pm.
A musical concert of singer Kali Prasad Baskota, singer Asmita Adhikari and Anju Gautam will also be organized on the last day of Carvinal on 12th February 2023.
According to the foundation, about 25 thousand people including students, parents, intellectuals and general public of Biratnagar are expected to watch the carnival.
