Gauri Shankar Multiple Campus, Hemja, Pokhara organized a series of programs on 17th February 2023 Friday to welcome newly arrived students of the graduation year, bid farewell to students of the fourth year of graduation, and distribute academic awards for classes 11 and 12. The event was a grand success, with several dignitaries addressing the gathering.
Devkrishna Paudel, the chairman of the campus management committee, advised the students to focus on their studies with disciplined attention and to give up the mentality of going abroad. He emphasized that apart from academics, students should also take care of their morals.
Rama Tripathi, the Vice President of the Board of Directors, advised the students to create a study plan and focus on academic activities to gain respect for the campus. Meanwhile, Krishna Prasad Paudel, the campus head, wished for the academic progress of the students and urged them to play a role in improving education.
During the program, Vinita Sapkota, a fourth-year graduate student, encouraged her peers to work hard to improve their reputation on campus and personally. Manju Sunar, a first-year graduate, expressed her gratitude to the campus for welcoming her and suggested that students play a role in creating a harmonious academic environment.
The former campus head, Om Bahadur Kunwar, presented an awareness poem in the program, which added an artistic touch to the event. The head of the department, Man Bahadur Karki, extended a warm welcome to the students, and Assistant Professor Maheshwar Paudel conducted the program.
The event was a great success, and it was an excellent opportunity for students to meet their peers and learn from experts in the education industry. It was also an excellent opportunity for the campus to recognize and reward the academic excellence of its students. Overall, the program was an incredible way to celebrate the achievements of students and inspire them to excel further in their academic journey.
