National Science Day "in relation to planning
In order to attract the attention of all stakeholders in the field of science and technology and to encourage the new talent in this field, the Government of Nepal is celebrating this National Seventh National Science Day 2076 with various programs on Ashoj 1. The date of establishment of the Amrit Science Campus is considered as the basis and the decision made by the Government of Nepal (Council of Ministers) on 2069/08/08. It has been celebrating National Science Day since 2070.
To celebrate the seventh National Science Day, 2076, a 43-member core function committee was formed in conjunction with the Honorable Minister of Education, Science, and Technology (MoEST) Girirajmani Pokharel, a University Professor, scientists, various ministries departments, Nepal Science and Technology Academy, BP Koirala Memorial Planetarium. The first meeting of the Committee in the presence of the officials of the Koirala Memorial Planetarium, Forensic Laboratory, various associations/institutions, and bodies have decided to celebrate the program in a grand manner on today, 2076/05/10.
From the meeting, the main function committee will also represent the private sector operating in the field of science, requesting all concerned to celebrate Science Day with various programs at local and state level, organizing various programs from all places, related to science-related areas, bodies and schools from their respective places. Seventh National Vs. Nana as a more systematic and effective manner week to celebrate the request has been decided.
