Nepal Nursing Council Publishes Registration Examination Notice; Exam to Be Held from Shrawan 25 to 28
The Examination Committee of the Nepal Nursing Council, Bansbari, Kathmandu, has published a notice regarding the upcoming registration certificate examination for various levels of nursing and midwifery programs. According to the notice published on 2083/03/18, the upcoming registration examination will be conducted from Shrawan 25 to 28, 2083, in accordance with the council’s annual work schedule.
Form Submission Date and Process
Examinees must submit the examination application form only through the online system. Application forms cannot be submitted through any medium other than online.
Online form submission date: From 2083/03/18 to 2083/04/15
Online form submission with late fee: From 2083/04/16 to 2083/04/18 during office hours, until 5:00 PM
To fill in the online form, applicants must visit the council’s website, application.nnc.org.np, and follow the instructions provided. Similarly, the examination fee must be paid through the online payment gateway “Khalti.”
Examination, Minimum Qualification and Fee Details
The qualifications and fee details for examinees appearing in the registration examination have been prescribed as follows:
Proficiency Certificate Level Nursing: Must have passed Proficiency Certificate Level Nursing (PCL Nursing).
Fee: Rs. 3500
Late fee: Rs. 7000
B.Sc. Nursing: Must have passed B.Sc. Nursing.
Fee: Rs. 3500
Late fee: Rs. 7000
BMS: Must have passed BMS.
Fee: Rs. 4100
Late fee: Rs. 8200
Specialist Nursing: Must have passed postgraduate nursing level (MN/M.Sc. Nursing).
Fee: Rs. 5100
Late fee: Rs. 10200
Other Important Examination Rules and Conditions
The council has mentioned various examination-related rules in the notice, which must be fully followed:
Documents and qualification: To be eligible to sit for the examination, the examination result must have been published by 2083/04/15, and all required documents mentioned in the Test Guideline must have been issued within the same date. All required academic qualification certificates must be uploaded online. Examinees who do not submit all documents by the prescribed final date will not be allowed to appear in the examination.
Caution while filling the form: Since separate examinations will be conducted according to the examinees’ academic programs, the online form must be filled clearly according to one’s academic qualification. Otherwise, the council will not be responsible, and the paid fee will not be refunded.
Identity document and dress: While coming to sit for the examination, examinees must compulsorily bring an original document proving their identity, such as National Identity Card, citizenship certificate, passport, or driving license. Examinees must also come in formal dress.
For those who studied abroad: Examinees who studied outside Nepal from Ashoj 15, 2077 (October 1, 2020) onward must compulsorily upload the Eligibility Letter from the Medical Education Commission.
Interview: The Examination Committee of the Nepal Nursing Council may also conduct interviews with examinees if it deems necessary.
Study of guideline: All examinees have been informed to fill in the form only after carefully studying the revised Test Guideline for all examinations available at nnc.org.np.
Admit card: The examination date, examination center, examination start time, and other information will be mentioned in the admit card, and those points must be compulsorily followed.
Practical examination of midwifery: The practical examination of midwifery may be held on a date before the prescribed theoretical examination.
