PSC Cancels Advertisement for Audit Director Post

The Public Service Commission, Information and Publication Section, has cancelled the advertisement for the post of Audit Director (Specialist) under the Office of the Auditor General. Issuing a notice, the Commission stated that the internal competition advertisement No. 16672/082-83 has been cancelled.
When the Government of Nepal (Council of Ministers) approved the organizational structure and position roster of the Office of the Auditor General on 2082/09/21, the post of Audit Director (Specialist) under Nepal Audit Service, Gazetted Second Class, was abolished. After the post was abolished, the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration requested the Commission to cancel the advertisement.
As per the Ministry’s decision dated 2082/10/15, the request was received on 2082/10/18, and the advertisement was cancelled in accordance with the Commission’s decision dated 2082/10/19. The notice states that the advertisement has been cancelled pursuant to Section 18(1) of the Public Service Commission Act, 2079.
The Commission had published the advertisement on 2082 Asoj 29. The advertisement, which was for one position, has now been cancelled, and this notice has been published for the information of all concerned.
