TU Opens B.Tech. Food Technology Second-Year Fourth-Semester Examination Forms

The Tribhuvan University Institute of Science and Technology, Office of the Dean, Examination Section, Balkhu, has opened examination application forms for the four-year bachelor’s-level B.Tech. Food Technology program conducted under the semester examination system and grading system.

According to the notice published on 2083/03/30, application forms have been opened for the regular examination of the second year, fourth semester, 2081 batch, and the partial examinations of earlier batches.

Form Submission Deadlines and Fees

  • Deadline for students to submit forms to their campuses: Until Shrawan 28, 2083.

  • Deadline for campuses to submit forms to the Dean’s Office: The concerned campuses must verify the forms and submit them to the office by Shrawan 31, 2083.

  • Regular and partial examination fee: Rs. 2,500.

  • Late fee: Rs. 2,500 within the first week after the examination form submission deadline expires.

Key Instructions for Campuses and Colleges

  • Quota and fee requirements: Proof of the approved quota must be submitted along with the forms, and forms for students exceeding the approved quota must not be submitted. A list of students receiving full scholarships as required under TU rules must also be attached. Campuses and colleges must also submit proof of payment of the service and affiliation fee of Rs. 3,000 per student payable each semester.

  • Partial examinees: Partial examinees must attach a photocopy of their mark sheet to the examination application form. Partial examinees who have only practical examinations remaining must also complete and submit the form.

  • Attendance and internal assessment: Examinees must meet the attendance requirements prescribed under TU rules. Internal assessment marks must be entered on the form, and a separate list must also be submitted. Forms submitted for students without internal assessment marks will be returned.

  • Forms for subjects failed in internal assessment: Examination forms must not be accepted for subjects in which students have failed the internal assessment. If a student completes the form and sits for the examination in such a subject, the examination for that subject will be automatically cancelled. The subject-wise number of examinees appearing in the examination must also be submitted.

  • Bank account for fee deposits: The concerned campuses must collect the examination fees and deposit the amount in Nepal Bank Limited’s current account number 04500100099107000001 at Kirtipur.

Special Information for Examinees

  • Examination centre: The examination centre will be determined later. In accordance with Tribhuvan University’s decision, the provision for changing examination centres has been removed.

  • Subjects cannot be changed: Once an examinee has selected subjects and completed the examination form, the subjects cannot be changed. Examinees are therefore instructed to confirm their subjects before completing the form.

  • Signature required: Examinees must personally provide their full signatures on both the examination application form and the admit card.

  • Circumstances in which an examination will be automatically cancelled: If an examinee does not complete the examination form for the regular semester in which they studied, skips that semester, and later completes the form and sits for the examination of another semester, the examinee’s examination will be automatically cancelled.
