Overview
Uttargaya Rural Municipality (उत्तरगया गाउँपालिका) was established in 2017 (2073 BS) as a self-government of Nepal. The office of the Uttargaya Rural Municipality (Uttargaya Gaunpalika) is located in Uttargaya -5, Laharepauwa, Rasuwa, Nepal. The northern religious places of Nepal, located in Raswa district, have been nominated from Uttargayadham to Uttargaya Rural Municipality. Uttargaya Gaunpalika was formed by including former four VDCs (Laharepauwa Ward 1 to 7 and 9, Thulogaun, Dandagaun, and Ward 8 & 9 of Hankugaun).
The total area is 104.51 sq km. according to the Census 2011 (2068 BS), the total population is 8255. The office of village executive is currently operated in Ward No. 5 Laharepauwa.
