28 Under-Secretaries (Upa-Sachiv) Appointed and Posted to Various Local Levels Across Nepal by Federal Affairs and General Administration Ministry
The Federal Affairs and General Administration Ministry has appointed 28 under-secretaries and posted them to various local levels across Nepal.
The appointed under-secretaries were already in the additional group and were appointed on Tuesday evening, 28th February 2023.
Most of the appointed under-secretaries have been sent to municipalities to serve as chief administrative officers, effectively overseeing the management and operations of these local bodies.
The newly appointed under-secretaries include Babu Krishna Dhakal, Sitaram Khadka, Muktinath Subedi, Jeevan Chandra Rai, Rajeshwari Khatri Sapkota, Dharma Raj Neupane, Om Prasad Pandey, Arjun Bahadur Thapa, Padamlal Lamichhane, Kiran Nidhi Tiwari, Madhav Prasad Adhikari, Basanta Neupane, Dattaraj Hamal, Kailash Bahadur Thakurani, Deepak Prasad Neupane, Jagdish Aryal, Lok Prasad Regmi, Jit Bahadur Bhandari, Krishna Prasad Poudel, Kamal Prasad Pun, Padam Prasad Aryal, Narayan Neupane, Dubindra Prasad Baral, Purusottam Ghimire, Ashwini Kumar Pokharel, Pawan Raj Koirala, and Mahendra Bishwakarma.
The appointment of these under-secretaries to various local levels is expected to improve the functioning of local bodies and ensure smooth and effective delivery of services to citizens.
The move by the Federal Affairs and General Administration Ministry is in line with the government's commitment to ensuring good governance and efficient administration at the local level.
