IPO to Locals of Madhya Bhotekoshi Hydropower Project Postponed:
The IPO issued by Madhya Bhotekoshi Hydropower Project for the project affected and locals of Sindhupalchowk has been postponed. According to Madhya Bhotekoshi Hydropower Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ram Gopal Siwakoti, the IPO has been postponed due to prohibitory orders (lockdown) in Sindhupalchowk district. He said that the Securities and Exchange Board of Nepal (SEBON) has been informed about this and the IPO has been postponed after the board also approved it.
"After the lockdown in Sindhupalchowk, we have decided to stop the IPO issuance for now." Siwakoti said, "IPO sales will be reopened once the lockdown opens." Sales manager Global IME Capital also said the IPO has been postponed for now.
