Janakpurdham Mayor Highlights Education and Dalit Upliftment at Library Opening
Janakpurdham sub-metropolitan city mayor Lal Kishore Sah emphasized the importance of education for the upliftment of any society during the opening ceremony of the Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Library in Janakpurdham. He expressed his happiness over the construction of the library and announced that the upliftment of Dalits would be his first priority. He also announced the construction of a statue of Dr. Bhimrao in the assembly hall constructed along with the library.
The central member of Janata Samajwadi Party, Manoj Chaudhary, discussed the contribution of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar and said that it would be possible to uplift the society if his contribution is accepted. The Janakpurdham sub-metropolitan city is bringing various programs for the upliftment of the Dalits, and the budget has been allocated for carrying out such activities in the various wards of Janakpurdham.
The Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Library, which was built for the first time in Nepal in Janakpurdham, has a budget of 25 lakhs provided by Janakpurdham sub-metropolitan city. Additionally, an auditorium for the Dalit society has also been constructed. Mayor Sah highlighted the need for more budget for the upliftment of Dalits and pledged to make their upliftment his top priority.
