Janapriya Secondary School Pokhara Celebrated the 52nd Anniversary:

Janapriya Secondary School Pokhara has celebrated its 52nd anniversary. On the occasion, parents gathered and prizes were distributed. Ward Chairman of Pokhara 8, Rudranath Baral, said that he would spare no effort to provide any assistance from the local government for the educational quality of the school. Expressing happiness over the increasing attraction of students in the school, he also congratulated the establishment of Pokhara as a model school for teaching including technical education.

Presenting the annual progress report of the school, Prof. Devi Prasad Bastakoti said that education is a mirror of society. He said that the school is currently conducting science, humanities, management, education and civil engineering. He claims that the educational quality has improved with the physical and economic progress of the school. He said that he has succeeded in connecting students and parents through technology by creating a popular school app called Popular Secondary School to facilitate virtual learning.

Former Chairman of School Management Committee Birendra Narayan Vijukche, Ram Bahadur Giri, Chairman of Parents Association Tikaram Poudel, Chairperson of Campus Management Committee of Popular Multipurpose Campus Tara Giri, Chairman of Ram Basic School Somnath Baral, Popular Alumni Forum Chairman Saroj Narayan Baral from neighboring schools. Retired Prof. Baburam Poudel, parents Homnath Sigdel, student Kshitij Thapa and Jagdish Chapagain of class 10 expressed their best wishes.

In the program conducted by teacher Sushma Thapa, a welcome was given by morning session coordinator Indra Bahadur Thapa and thank you memorandum was given by school management committee member Ramesh Baral.

Similarly, outgoing headmaster Baburam Poudel, and teachers Sajana Acharya, Buddhisagar Ghimire, Er Mahendra Poudel, Ashish Adhikari, and Srijana Thapa bade farewell. Teachers Din Nath Tiwari, Basanti Subedi, Sumitra Baral, Gayatri Sigdel, Office Assistant Kavita Giri, and Yashodha Acharya were awarded and honored.

Prizes were distributed to the best students in various disciplines from pre-primary to class 12. A fund has also been set up in the name of various individuals and organizations in the school.
