He stressed the need for the commission to maintain impartiality and credibility by selecting and recommending manpower dedicated to the service of the nation. "The commission should focus on selecting the skilled manpower required by the Province as soon as possible, and the government will have to manage the economic and material aspects; The Commission should not delay in managing its manpower within its core functions, duties, and jurisdiction. ”
Chief Minister Jeevan Bahadur Shahi said that the work of drafting the Province civil service act has reached the final stage and preparations are being made to table it in the winter session of the Province assembly. "The union's failure to enact a law has affected the functioning of the Province. We are now drafting a separate civil service law for the Province," he said.
Chief Minister Shahi said that the Province Public Service Commission was the backbone of Province development. He said, "Development work cannot be done without staffing. If the commission does its work without getting involved in any other problem, the government will provide necessary assistance including budget."
Chairman of the Karnali Pradesh Public Service Commission, Ram Prasad Upadhyaya, said that due to the non-drafting of the Civil Service Act, there is injustice in the services and facilities of the employees who are recommended at the Province and local level. Secretary Bhupendra Thapa informed that the recruitment process for the fourth and fifth level staff has already started.
