Kathmandu University's On-site Visits in Kavrepalanchok District: Strengthening Community Relations

Kathmandu University, with the aim of expanding its relationship with the community, has initiated on-site visits and observations in all 13 local levels of the Kavrepalanchok district. The campaign seeks to address the problems and needs of the community through the academic manpower of the university while upgrading the community. The Director of the University Community Relations Extension Division, Kishore Khanal, reported that most of the visits to the local level have been completed, and the problems of the local level will be solved through a joint initiative of the society and the university.

Solutions for the Problems Faced by the Local Level

To solve the problems related to science and technology, education, law, and engineering at the local level, Kathmandu University will initiate solutions from the academic level of the university. This approach is expected to strengthen the community and the university, enabling them to build a common goal and work together to benefit everyone. Additionally, the university is collaborating with the people's representatives to solve the problems of the community.

Technical Support and Research by Kathmandu University

Bethanchok Rural Municipality the University of Tunnel Engineering has started research for technical support. This initiative will provide technical assistance and support for the development of tunnel engineering in the rural municipality.
