Laxmidas Manandhar Child Welfare Award Notice
On the occasion of its annual anniversary, this Corporation has been presenting the Laxmidas Manandhar Child Welfare Award each year to an individual or institution that has made outstanding contributions to the educational, psychological, physical, material, moral, and character development of children.
Deadline Extension for Recommendations
For the year 2082, the deadline for recommendations of eligible individuals or institutions for the Laxmidas Manandhar Child Welfare Award has been extended until Bhadra 15, 2082. Recommendations must be registered at the Corporation’s Central Office in Kathmandu or at the Provincial Offices in Biratnagar, Birgunj, Bhairahawa, Pokhara, Dhangadhi, and Nepalgunj by this date.
Recommendations submitted after Bhadra 15, 2082, will not be accepted.
Eligibility Criteria
The award will be given to an individual or institution meeting the following criteria:

Those who have directly provided services in areas such as child health, education, and child psychology.

Those who have actively worked for a long time to support the educational and psychological advancement of helpless children with special needs.

Those who have been engaged in the care and support of helpless children continuously for at least 5 years.

Those who have effectively raised awareness and worked practically for the rights of children.
Special priority will be given to institutions operating with resources generated within the country.
