Government of Nepal, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Singha Durbar, Kathmandu, Nepal notice regarding schools remain closed till Magh 15, 2078.
Due to the rapid spread of Covid-19 infection in recent times and the confirmation of the infection of Omicron variant, it has been decided to give annual leave to all basic and secondary schools across the country from 27th of Poush, 2078 to 15th of Magh, 2078.
As there is a program to vaccinate students in the age group of 12 to 17 years through the health posts at all local levels during this period of leave, all parents are requested to contact the school and send their children for vaccination on the specified day.
During the vacation period, schools should make necessary facilitation in the learning of students as per the provisions of Learning Facilitation Directive 2077 and also arrange for universities and educational institutes to conduct pre-determined semester and annual examination programs in full compliance with public health and safety standards.
