Nepal is a country rich in natural and cultural heritage. Efforts need to be made by the governmental and non-governmental sectors to create opportunities and environments for the development of hidden talents in all caste communities. The development of politics, language, literature, art, culture is the backbone of the country's development. It serves as the basis and motivator for advancing overall development. Various creators who have been continuously active in Nepal's genre and field including political and cultural change, language, literature, art, culture history have been playing an important role in the overall development of the country. It is the responsibility of the state to appreciate and respect the contribution made by the creators in this field.

In this regard, it has been decided to award the prizes as per the decision of the Government of Nepal (Cabinet meeting) dated 2077-03-14.

Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Since 2051 BS, the National and Talent Awards have been established and the creators of four departmental fields including culture, music and drama, fine arts, and language literature have been honored and appreciated. 1,00,000.- National Talent Award and Rs. 50,000.- It has been decided to award cash in the form of the Provincial Talent Award. Under this, an award selection committee was formed under the convenorship of the Vice-Chancellor of Nepal Pragya Pratisthan for Language and Literature, under the convenorship of the Chancellor of Nepal Pragya Pratisthan for Culture, under the convenorship of the Chancellor of Nepal Academy of Music and Drama for Music and Drama and under the convenorship of Nepal Academy of Fine Arts.

The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation has established the Pushpalal National Award from FY 2068/069 in recognition of its significant contribution to political change and development and prosperity of Nepal. This year too, it has been decided to honor five winners from the award. For this, a four-member award selection committee was formed under the coordination of the member-secretary of Nepal Pragya Pratisthan.

Similarly, in recognition of Bhagat Sarvajit Vishwakarma for his unforgettable contribution to the social reform, social justice, equality, and Dalit liberation movement, the Government of Nepal Since 2073 BS, Bhagat Sarvijit has established the National Human Dignity Award. Similarly, in recognition of the incomparable contribution made by senior writer Gopal Prasad Rimal to the flourishing of Nepali literature, the Government of Nepal The Gopal Prasad Rimal National Award has been established since 2075 BS. The prize money is Rs. 100,000. This year, it has been decided to dedicate the award to two creators who have made special contributions in Nepali language, literature, especially poetry and drama. For this, a three-member award selection committee was formed under the coordination of the patriarch of Nepal Pragya Pratisthan.
