National PABSON to Open Admission from Ashad 15:

National Private and Boarding School's Organization Nepal (National PABSON) has decided to start the student admission process from 15th Ashad. The decision was taken at a meeting of the central committee of the organization.

The meeting has also decided to collect the fee. A joint statement issued by Ritu Sapkota, chairperson of National PABSON, and Subash Neupane, general secretary, states that 15 decisions have been taken, including providing textbooks to the enrolled students.

The meeting of the Central Committee of the National Private and Residential Schools Association of Nepal has concluded on 1st and 3rd of Ashad 2077 BS with Zoom Technology. In the meeting, in the presence of the central office-bearers and members, the current issues were discussed and detailed decisions were taken.

  1. Due to the coronavirus, the schools have not been able to operate since the beginning of the current academic session.
  1. To manage the availability of textbooks and other necessary educational materials to the enrolled students through appropriate means.
  1. To conduct alternative teaching method in accordance with the Alternative Teaching Methodology Directive-2077 passed by the meeting.
  1. To inform the member schools to connect the students with the learning through alternative teaching method under the passed directive in case the class cannot be conducted immediately due to the current unfavorable situation.
  1. To inform the students and parents about the virtual classrooms run by the school through the school administration.
  1. To conduct a teacher orientation program on online and offline classroom operation methods and procedures.
  1. To identify the students living outside the school area and to advance the learning process of the students through the communication available in the respective places.
  1. To make efforts to bring alternative teaching methods to the students by collaborating with all types of media at the local level.
  1. If necessary, class groups of municipal and district level students will be formed and the method of conducting alternative classes collectively will also be adopted.
  1. To inform all the member schools to manage the expenses by fixing the fee with the consent of the school administration, parents, and teachers for the management of house rent, bank installment and interest, and salary allowance of the teaching staff which is mandatory obligations in Baishakh and Jestha during lockdown.
  1. As per the directive given by the Prime Minister to conduct alternative classes from the 1st of Ashad and to advance the teaching without wasting the current academic session, the internal activities of the school and conducting the alternative classes will be carried out regularly from July.
  1. In the current situation, if there is any difficulty in adopting online and offline i.e. alternative teaching and learning, the State and Central Committees will provide necessary facilitation.
  1. To demand from the government to make available various teaching materials prepared by the Government of Nepal in English medium and also to disseminate them in a way that is suitable for the students studying in private schools.
  1. The Central Committee also met the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Education, and Minister of Finance for various demands including concessional loans to schools for the current crisis situation. Re-emphasize.
  1. To create an environment for the operation of schools in coordination with the local government in places where the impact of coronavirus is zero and minimal by considering the necessity of physical presence in school education. For this purpose, the management of the classroom will be managed at different times keeping in mind the security arrangements and the physical distance.
