Nepal Ranked Happiest Country in South Asia

The United Nations has released the World Happiness Report. According to the report released on Friday, Finland has been listed as the happiest country this year as well. The country has been on the list of happiest nations for five consecutive years.

Nepal is ranked 85th in South Asian countries while India is ranked 136th. Last year, India was ranked 139th. Bangladesh is ranked 99th and Pakistan 103rd in the list of happiest countries in South Asia.

According to the list, China is ranked 82nd, three places above Nepal. The report portrays Afghanistan as the saddest country in South Asia.

Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Switzerland, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Sweden, Norway, Israel, New Zealand, and Austria are listed as the happiest nations.

Finland has once again proved to be the happiest country in the world. According to the World Happiness Report 2022, Finland has been declared the happiest country in the world. For the fifth time in a row, Finland has become the happiest country in the world, according to the World Happiness Report.

The World Happiness Report typically ranks 150 countries based on a variety of factors, such as per capita GDP, social support, healthy life expectancy, freedom of choice, generosity, and perceptions of corruption.

Denmark and Iceland are second and third on the list, respectively. Switzerland is in fourth place, while the Netherlands and Luxembourg are in fifth and sixth place, respectively. Sweden, Norway, and Israel are in seventh, eighth, and ninth place respectively, and New Zealand is in tenth place.

World Happiness Index 2022

According to the world happiness index, the World Happiness Report is an indicator of global happiness. The rankings are based on reports of respondents’ assessments of their own lives, and articles on national happiness are included. The report also compares with other elements that influence (quality of) life. As of March 2022, According to the World Happiness Report, Finland was named the happiest nation in the world five times in a row. The latest calculation is yet to be announced.
