Press Council Nepal Awards 2077:

The Press Council Gopaldas Journalism Award will be given to senior journalist Shambhu Shrestha. This was stated in a press release issued on the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the Press Council Nepal. The council was established on the 6th of Aswin 2027 BS. The amount of the award is one lakh 51 thousand rupees. Similarly, Press Council Surendra Bahadur Basnet Journalism Award will be given to Arjun Bohora of Humla. The amount of the award is one lakh 10 thousand rupees. According to the information given by the Press Council Nepal, the Press Council Code of Conduct award of Rs. 50,000 will be given to Setopati.com.

Similarly, the Press Council Active Journalism Award of Rs 20,000 will be given to seven people. The recipients of the award are Govinda Chhetri of Jhapa, Rajan Karki of Kathmandu, Dharmendra Karna (Dhanusha), Rishi Dhamala (Dhading), Umesh Shrestha (Kathmandu), Dipendra Shrestha (Kaski), and Nitu Pandit (Kathmandu). Similarly, the Press Council Youth Journalism Award worth Rs 15,000 will be given to 13 people.

Satendra Jabegu (Ilam), Suresh Chandra Adhikari (Chitwan), Madhav Poudel (Kathmandu), Ganesh Chaudhary (Kailali), Girija Adhikari (Makwanpur), Raju BK (Siraha), Kamla Shrestha (Kathmandu), Rajan Singh (Dhanusha) Devi Kumari Gurung (Rolpa), Renu Parajuli (Udaipur), Dipendra Wali (Surkhet), Sher Bahadur Thapa (Surkhet), Radhika Kandel (Kaski) and Shanta Kamali (Lamjung). Similarly, the Press Council Literary Journalism Award of Rs. 20,000 will be given to Nawaraj Rijal, Editor / Publisher of the newly announced literary quarterly magazine.

Similarly, the Press Council Linguistic Journalism Award of Rs. 20,000 will be given to Ganesh Rai (Wambule Rai Language). Similarly, Savita Dhakal and Shivaji Prasad Parajuli will be awarded the Press Council Outstanding Employee Award on behalf of the employees. The prize money is Rs 20,000 each. Geeta Kathayat and Shiva Kumar Khadka will be given Press Council Staff Incentive Award.
