Prithvi Narayan Campus (PN) Teachers on Strike:
Teachers working at Prithvinarayan Campus (PN) have resorted to vandalism after not receiving their salaries. The teachers of the campus have gone on a rampage saying that they have not been paid for six months. Part-time teachers on campus have vandalized the office of the campus head, saying their demands have not been met. Two windows of the campus head's office have been shattered and some chairs have been broken.
Earlier, the part-time teachers' union had submitted a memorandum demanding salary. According to Bishnu Gautam, a part-time teacher of the campus, the situation escalated after he refused to meet the campus head on the pretext of a meeting. The teachers have even locked the headmaster's office.
Earlier, there was a scuffle between the part-time teachers and the administration on campus. PN Campus has 220 Part-time teachers. The part-time teachers had stopped teaching, demanding a monthly salary for the part-time teachers who were in charge of the class.
