Sabin Priyasan’s ‘Kalo Man’ Novel Released
Journalist and litterateur Sabin Priyasan’s 12th work, the novel ‘Kalo Man’, has been released. Active for many years in literature and journalism from Ghorahi, Priyasan’s book was unveiled at a special ceremony.

Earlier, in the month of Baisakh, Priyasan published the novel ‘Kadi’. Within a six-month interval, he has brought ‘Kalo Man’ to readers. The new novel is 208 pages long.

Themes and Message
According to the author, the novel centers on a love story between a young man who succeeds in agriculture-based entrepreneurship and a young woman who, after struggle, studies medicine. The work also includes several subplots that convey messages to society.
Through the title ‘Kalo Man’, Priyasan comments on negative thinking. He states that the novel seeks to convey the message that one can overcome negative thoughts and achieve success in every field.

Professional Roles
Priyasan is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the Gantantra Rastriya Dainik, published from Ghorahi, and serves as the Central Secretary of the Federation of Nepali Journalists. He has previously worked as the Central General Secretary of the Rapti Sahitya Parishad.
Honors and Recognition
For continuous engagement in literature, journalism, and social service, Priyasan has received the Vibhushan Samman from the Government of Nepal. He has also been honored with dozens of awards and recognitions ranging from district to national levels.
