Sarala KC has been appointed as the President of the Nepal Nursing Council. A meeting of the cabinet held on Wednesday appointed KC, who is also the dean of Patan Academy of Health Science (PAHS) School of Nursing, as the President. The Ministry of Health had recommended to the Council of Ministers for an appointment in November.
The meeting also decided to appoint Sharada Aryal as vice-President Radha Silwal, Roshni Tuitui, and Rama Pahadi as members. Sharada Aryal, who has been appointed as the vice-President, is working in the Bir Hospital. Appointed as a member, Tuitui is the head of nursing at Bir Hospital. Similarly, Rama Pahadi is the principal of Vinayak Nursing Campus.
