NEB-National Examination Board

SEE in Third Week and Class 12 Exam in Last Week of Jestha 2078:

The National Examination Board (NEB) has started internal preparations for the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) of Class 10 and the final annual examination of Class 12 with a gap of one week.

NEB has started preparations for 2078 SEE in Jestha Third Week and Class 12 exam from the last week of Jestha 2078.

Prof. Dr. Chandra Mani Poudel, Vice-Chairman of the Board, said that internal preparations are being made for the examination and informed that a formal decision will be taken on the schedule of the formal examination within a month.

Currently, the board is working in different stages for the examination of both levels. If this preparation of the board is implemented, there will be only an average loss of two / three months in the academic session of the student.

The deadline for students across the country to fill up the registration form for SEE ended on Falgun 6. The board has informed that the work of archiving the students is being done in the districts at present.

This time, the number of students due to coronavirus infection may be reduced, but it has not been decided yet. The government has already decided to facilitate transfer to class 10, targeting students who have left one school for another.

Currently, the registration of students studying in classes 11 and 12 is underway. The board has provided time for the students to fill up the registration form in Falgun. After filling the form, all the preparations have been completed and the examination of class 12 can be taken in the last week of Jestha. The final examination of class 11 will be conducted by the concerned school.

Last year, the government had decided to give the right to conduct class 11 examinations and publish the results to the school concerned. Poudel informed that the examination of class 11 will be conducted by the school concerned unless the government takes any new policy decision.
