The number of new investors in the market has been increasing day by day. Many investors have entered the market through IPOs. Nowadays, the attraction of investors towards IPOs is increasing. With the issuance of IPO of every company, the number of investors is going to be high. This is confirmed by the number of applications more than the demand every time.
Currently, 19 companies are sitting in the pipeline waiting for approval to issue an IPO to the Securities and Exchange Board of Nepal (SEBON). One company's IPO has been postponed due to Covid-19. And one company has recently received approval to issue an IPO from SEBON. In this way, IPOs of 20 companies are being issued.
1) Madhya Bhotekoshi Hydropower Company Limited:
Madhya Bhotekoshi Hydropower Company Limited has been issuing ordinary shares (IPO) to the locals of the project-affected areas since Tuesday, the 21st of Baishakh. However, the IPO has been postponed due to the lockdown issued due to the coronavirus infection.
In the first phase, the company had issued a total of 6 million ordinary shares at the face value of Rs 100 per share. Out of which 30 percent or 1.8 million lots have been allotted for the permanent residents of Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality Ward No. 1 and 5, Barhabise Municipality Ward No. 5 and 6, and Barhabise Municipality Ward No. 7 and 8 of Sindhupalchok District while the remaining 70 percent or 42. The company had received permission from the Nepal Securities Board to issue a total of 15 million IPOs on April 19. Out of which, in the first phase, the project will release 9 million lots for the residents of the affected areas and in the second phase for the general public.
2) Sahas Energy Company Limited:
Sahas Urja Company Limited has applied to the regulatory body SEBON on Wednesday, 24th of Manshir, 2077 to open and issue 15 million ordinary shares (IPO) equal to Rs. 1.5 billion at face value of Rs. Has submitted NIBL Ace Capital Limited will act as the issue and sale manager to make the ordinary shares of the company public.
3) Sayapatri Hydropower Company Limited:
Sayapatri Hydropower Company Limited has submitted an application to the regulatory body SEBON on 17th of Falgun 2077 to open the issue and sale of 900,000 ordinary shares (IPO) equal to Rs. 900 million at a face value of Rs. 100 per share to the public. The sales manager of the company's IPO will be NIBL Ace Capital Limited.
4) Upper Solu Hydro Electric Company Limited:
The Upper Solu Hydro Electric Company has applied for SEBON on the 16th of Chaitra 2077, demanding the issuance of a total of 337,500 IPOs at a face value of Rs. 100, equivalent to Rs. 337,050,000. The company will issue IPOs for the general public and locals. NMB Capital Limited is the IPO issuer and sales manager.
5) Manushi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited
Manushi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited has submitted an application to the regulatory body SEBON on the 13th of Baishakh to open the issuance and sale of 3,93,750 ordinary shares (IPO) worth Rs. 393.75 million. Nepal SBI Merchant Banking Limited will act as the issue and sale manager to make the ordinary shares of the company public.
6) Dordi Khola Hydropower Company Limited:
Dordi Khola Hydropower Company Limited has submitted SEBON regulation on 21st of Baishakh to open the issuance and sale of 29,51,929 ordinary shares (IPO) worth Rs. 295,192,900. Siddhartha Capital Limited will act as the issue and sale manager to make the ordinary shares of the company public.
7) Upper Hewa Khola Hydropower Company Limited:
Upper Hewa Khola Hydropower Company Limited has submitted an application to SEBON on Jestha 2, 2078 to issue 2 million IPOs at the face value of Rs 100 per share, equivalent to Rs 200 million. NMB Capital Limited will act as the issuer and sales manager for the company's IPO. The 8.5 MW hydropower project in Hewakhola, which flows through Panchkhapan and Chainpur municipalities of Sankhuwasabha district under the company's province No. 1, is currently under construction.
8) Union Life Insurance Company Limited:
Union Life Insurance Company Limited has submitted an application to SEBON on Sunday 9th Jestha 2077 to issue 6.45 million ordinary shares (IPO) at the face value of Rs 100 per share equal to Rs 645 million.
Prabhu Capital Limited will act as the issuer and sales manager for the company's IPO. Rating agency ICRA Nepal has given the 'ICRA IR BBB' rating to the company's ordinary shares (IPO). This rating indicates that the company's ability to meet financial obligations on time is moderately risky on average. This rating indicates that the basic condition of the company is moderate. At present, the company's paid-up capital is Rs 1.5 billion. The company's paid-up capital will exceed Rs 2 billion after the issuance of ordinary shares (IPO).
9) Sanima Life Insurance Company Limited:
Sanima Life Insurance Company Limited has submitted an application to SEBON to issue 6 million IPOs at the rate of Rs 100 per share. Prabhu Capital Limited will act as the issuer and sales manager for the company's IPO. The company's IPO care rating has given a "Care NP BBB" rating. This rating indicates that the company's fundamentals are moderate.
10) Dish Media Network Limited:
Dishome has submitted an application to SEBON on the 29th of ASHAD 2077 for the issuance and sale of 2385929 ordinary shares (IPO) worth Rs. 238.592 million. The issuance and sale of the ordinary shares will be handled by Global IME Capital Limited.
11) Green Venture Limited:
Green Venture Limited has submitted an application to the regulatory body SEBON on 28th of Falgun 2077 to open the issuance and sale of 62.5 million ordinary shares (IPO) equal to Rs. 625 million at a face value of Rs. The company's IPO will be managed by Laxmi Capital Limited, the sales manager.
12) Mailung Khola Hydropower Company Limited
Mailung Khola Hydropower Company Limited has submitted an application to SEBON on 20th Ashoj 2074 to open the issuance and sale of 736,286 ordinary shares (IPO). Siddhartha Capital Limited will act as the issue and sale manager to make the ordinary shares of the company public.
13) Nyadi Hydropower Company Limited:
Nyadi Hydropower Company Limited has submitted an application to SEBON on 10th Manshir 2077 to open the issue and sale of 4,050,000 ordinary shares (IPO) at the face value of Rs. 100 per share equal to Rs. 405 million. Global IME Capital Limited will act as the issuer and sales manager to make the company's ordinary shares (IPO) public.
14) Vindhyavasini Hydropower Development Company Limited:
Vindhyavasini Hydropower Development Company Limited has submitted an application to SEBON on 1st Magh 2076 to open the issue and sale of 2.5 million ordinary shares (IPO) worth Rs. 250 million. Sanima Capital Limited will act as the issue and sale manager to make the ordinary shares of the company public.
15) Samling Power Company Limited:
Samling Power Company Limited has submitted an application to the regulatory body SEBON on 5th Magh 2077 to open the issuance and sale of IPOs for the citizens and general public of the project affected areas at a face value of Rs. 100 per share equal to Rs. 1.23 million. Is Nepal SBI Merchant Banking Limited will act as the issue and sale manager to make the ordinary shares of the company public.
16) Himalayan Hydropower Company Limited:
Himalayan Hydropower Company Limited has submitted an application to SEBON on the 27th of Kartik 2076 to open the issue and sale of 2.25 million ordinary shares (IPO) worth Rs. 225 million. Janata Capital Limited will act as the issue and sale manager to make the ordinary shares of the company public.
17) Manakamana Smart Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited:
Manakamana Smart Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited has submitted an application to SEBON on Friday the 14th of Falgun 2077 to open the issuance and sale of 389,000 ordinary shares (IPO) worth Rs 38.9 million. NMB Capital Limited will act as the IPO issuance and sales manager of the organization.
18) Balefi Hydropower Limited:
Balefi Hydropower Limited has submitted an application to the regulatory body SEBON on the 25th of Falgun 2077 to open the issuance and sale of 3655940 ordinary shares (IPO) equal to Rs. 365.594 million at the face value of Rs. 100. The sales manager of the company's IPO will be Global IME Capital Limited.
19) Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydropower Company Limited
