Urgent Notice from Ministry of Education (2076-11-23)

Government of Nepal, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Education and Human Resource Development Center,

The President urges notice on submitting project proposals to public schools interested in the educational reform program

According to the Presidential Educational Improvement Program Implementation Procedure, adopted by the Council of Ministry of Nepal, 2076, the Board of Directors decided to challenge the proposal of public schools up to Rs. 2.5 million in this current financial year (2076 / 077). This information has been published by submitting proposals from the following priority areas of nature, which can be completed indoors, not replicated in the program and provide direct support to teaching-learning.

Priority Areas:

  • Establishment and operation of a science laboratory in a public secondary school
  • Establishment of a technical laboratory in a school where technical education program is operated (unless previously received assistance).
  • Extension of Internet facilities to school / Management of SmartBoard facilities
  • Computer and Information Technology Laboratory in Public Secondary School
  • Establishment and operation of library in school (only in non-library schools)
  • Toilet with school facilities and separate toilet with changing room for girls
  • Green School, Environmental Improvement and School Coloring
  • Arrangement of teachers (if not provided by other arrangements) in the schools where teachers and technical education programs of mathematics and English subjects are conducted at the secondary level.
  • Construction of playgrounds in non-play schools, maintenance and reinforcement, and management of sports materials.
  • Work to complete the construction of school buildings, classrooms, which have been incomplete for a long time
  • In the coming years, a detailed project report (DPR) will be prepared for the construction of school infrastructure with large and residential facilities.

The process of submitting a proposal:

  • Prepare the proposal in the format prescribed by the school (format is available on the website of this center www.doe.gov.np) and submit it at the relevant local level within the date 2076/12/07.
  • The recommendations of the school, including the decision of the local level executive, should be given priority
  • Arrangement to reach the Education Development and Coordination Unit within 2076/12/10 by sending the scan copy directly to the Center for Education and Human Resource Development via email ([email protected] or [email protected]) and sending the original copy to this center.
  • The program related to the proposal submitted by the Education Development and Coordination Unit collecting the necessary facilitation and locally received proposals for verification and verification at the Education and Human Resource Development Center, not later than in the school (according to the unit's records).
