PSC Publishes Kharidar and Engineering Results; One Candidate Penalized for Improper Conduct
Kathmandu — The Public Service Commission (Lok Sewa Aayog) Central Office, Kamalpokhari, has published the result of the first-stage written examination for the Non-Gazetted Second Class, non-technical, Kharidar or equivalent post.
In addition, the Commission has published the written examination results and interview schedules for various posts under the Engineering Service. It has also taken action against one candidate involved in improper conduct during the examination, barring the candidate from appearing in examinations for three years.
First-Stage Result of Kharidar Post
According to Notice No. 2391/082-83 issued by the Information and Publication Branch of the Commission, the result of the first-stage written examination for the Kharidar or equivalent post, held on 2083/01/26 BS, has been published.
The Commission stated that the examinations of candidates who did not mention the “key” in the answer sheet have been cancelled.

Notice on Interviews for Various Engineering Service Posts
The Written Examination Result Publication Branch of the Commission has published the results of various posts under the Engineering Service and fixed the interview program.
Candidates selected for interview must submit two passport-size photographs, certificates of the required minimum qualifications, and two copies each of the first and second pages of the application form to the Application Management Center, Anamnagar, within seven days from the date of publication of the notice. The program will continue as scheduled even if a public holiday falls on the date.

Candidate’s Examination Cancelled and Action Taken
The Examination Branch of the Commission has taken action against one candidate through Notice No. 2366/082-83 for improper conduct during the examination.
According to the notice, improper conduct was found in the examination held on 2083/02/23 BS at Vijay Smarak Secondary School (A) Center for the post of Police Inspector, General Duty, of Nepal Police.
The Commission stated that Rohit Kumar Rai, Roll No. 1000068, grandson of Jasbir Rai and son of Sarbahadur Rai, resident of Chainpur Municipality Ward No. 9, Sankhuwasabha district, took a photograph of the question paper and sent it through WhatsApp to mobile number 9810306763. The Commission further stated that he used Chat GPT and received the answer on his mobile phone.
For this act, the Commission decided on 2083/02/26 BS, pursuant to Section 41(1) of the Public Service Commission Act, 2079, to cancel the entire examination of the said advertisement of Rohit Kumar Rai. Pursuant to Section 41(2) of the same Act, the Commission also decided to bar him from becoming a candidate in all types of examinations conducted by the Commission for the next three years.
