District Judge Final Result Published by the Judicial Service Commission

Monday, 14 Poush 2082, Kathmandu.

The Judicial Service Commission (Nyaya Sewa Aayog) has published the final result of the written examination conducted for the post of District Judge on Monday.

Although the demand was for 21 candidates, 27 candidates have passed. Among them, 20 names have been recommended for appointment as judges. One post has remained vacant after a recommendation was made from the open category under the Madhesi quota.

In the written examination held on Kartik 20, 21, 22, and 23, a total of 172 candidates participated, and 27 candidates were successful.

The commission had published vacancies for 11 positions under the internal open category, but 15 candidates were recommended; for 6 positions under the open category, 20 candidates were recommended; for 1 position under the women category, 2 candidates were recommended; for 2 positions under the Indigenous Nationalities category, 2 candidates were recommended; and for 1 position under the Madhesi category, a recommendation was made from the open category.

The candidates selected from the written examination for interview for the District Judge post (demanded post count: 21) under the Judicial Service Commission advertisement numbers 0001/082-83 (Internal Open), 0002/082-83 (Open), 0003/082-83 (Women), 0004/082-83 (Indigenous Nationalities), and 0005/082-83 (Madhesi) were interviewed.

Based on the marks obtained (including the written examination), the merit order has been determined as follows, and recommendations are being made to the Judicial Council for appointment to the post of District Judge.
