PSC Kathmandu Recommends Alternate for Senior Store Mechanics Post

The Public Service Commission (PSC- Lok Sewa Aayog), Kathmandu Office has recommended an alternate candidate for permanent appointment to the post of Senior Store Mechanics under the Nepal Engineering Service. The Commission stated, through a notice issued today, that it decided to recommend a candidate from the alternate list for the vacant post.
The post became vacant after the previously recommended candidate resigned from the Senior Store Mechanics post under Advertisement No. 12014/081-82 (Open) for Non-Gazetted First Class (Technical), Mechanical Group, Construction Equipment Maintenance Sub-group.
According to the Commission’s Notice No. 58/2082-83 (dated 2082.08.23), the candidate ranked 1 in the recommendation merit order, Narayan Khanal, had been recommended to Shri Heavy Equipment Division, Hetauda, and he resigned from the post. The Commission stated that, following his resignation, his name has been removed from the recommendation merit order list.
For the same vacant position, the Commission’s Interview and Recommendation Section stated that, on 2082.11.04, it decided to recommend Bal Krishna Kandel, who is ranked 1 in the advertisement’s alternate merit order, for permanent appointment.
