PSC Kathmandu recommends alternate candidate for Sub-Engineer post

The Public Service Commission, Kathmandu Office, has recommended an alternate candidate for the post of Sub-Engineer under the Nepal Engineering Service, Civil Group, Irrigation Subgroup.
The Commission decided to recommend a candidate from the alternate list for the vacant post after the previously recommended candidate submitted an application stating unwillingness to join the post.
Previously, under Advertisement No. 12002/2081-82 (Open) for the Non-Gazetted First Class (Technical) Sub-Engineer post, Subas Subedi, who was ranked 20 in the merit list, had been recommended based on the decision dated 2082/08/18.
As Subas Subedi submitted a statement with identification confirming that he was unwilling to take appointment at the Department of Water Resources and Irrigation, Jawalakhel, his name has been removed from the merit list.
As per the Commission’s decision dated 2082/10/18, Sushil Subedi, who is ranked 1 on the alternate merit list under the same advertisement, has been recommended for permanent appointment.
The notice states that he has been recommended to the same office, the Department of Water Resources and Irrigation, Jawalakhel, Lalitpur.
