Public Service Commission Announces Organized Institutions Pre-Qualification Exams, Results and Recommendations

The Public Service Commission, Central Office, Kamalpokhari (Information and Publication Section), published various notices on 2083/04/06 BS concerning pre-qualification examination advertisements, written examination results, interview schedules, recommendations and the cancellation of an examination for different posts under organized institutions.

1. Pre-Qualification Examination Advertisement for Non-Technical Posts under Organized Institutions

According to Notice No. 38/083–84, the Commission has published an advertisement for the pre-qualification examination required for the open competitive written examinations for the following non-technical posts under organized institutions:

• Assistant Level First Class, Nayab Subba or equivalent, Fifth Level or equivalent

• Assistant Level Second Class, Kharidar or equivalent, Fourth Level or equivalent

Candidates must apply through the Commission’s online application system at psconline1.psc.gov.np.

Advertisement and Examination Schedule

Minimum Qualifications

For the Fifth Level or equivalent: Candidates must have passed the Proficiency Certificate Level, Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification from a recognised educational institution.

For the Fourth Level or equivalent: Candidates must have passed the SLC or an equivalent examination from a recognised educational institution.

For candidates who passed the SEE or an equivalent examination after the introduction of the grading system, a GPA of 2 or above will be considered sufficient to meet the minimum qualification requirement.

• Kathmandu

• Pokhara

• Baglung

• Butwal

• Dang

• Surkhet

• Jumla

Application Fees

Application Deadlines

• Regular application deadline: 2083/04/26 BS

• Deadline with double fee: 2083/05/02 BS

Age Limit

Candidates must have completed 18 years of age and must not have exceeded 35 years as of 2083/04/26 BS.

Women and candidates with disabilities must not have exceeded 40 years of age. The age limit will not apply to permanent employees currently in service.

2. Written Examination Results and Interview Schedules

The Commission has also published the results of candidates selected for interviews from among those who appeared in the written examinations conducted under various advertisements. The group test and interview schedules have also been announced.

Candidates attending the interview must bring:

• Two passport-size photographs

• Originals and two copies each of their certificates

• Two completed copies each of the first and second pages of the application form

Candidates must report to the interview venue one hour before the scheduled time.

The Commission has stated that recommendation notices for various advertisements have been published on its website and displayed on the notice board of the concerned office. They were also published in the Commission’s bulletin dated 2083/04/06 BS.

4. Notice Regarding Examination Cancellation and Action Taken

According to Notice No. 35/083–84 issued by the Public Service Commission’s Security Bodies and Organized Institutions Division (Examination Operation Section), action has been taken against candidate Sanju Bishwakarma, Citizenship No. 73-01-76-02465 and Roll No. 200125.

The candidate appeared in the written examinations conducted by the Commission’s Jaleshwar Office under Advertisement Nos. 101/082–83 and 102/082–83 and wrote their name and roll number on the answer sheet in violation of the examination rules.

Under the decision dated 2083/03/32 BS, all written examinations taken by the candidate under the stated advertisements have been cancelled.
