PSC Pokhara Publishes Final Result for Mechanics Post
Recommendations made under open and Madhesi categories; candidates could not be recommended under women and Adivasi Janajati categories.

The Public Service Commission (PSC), Pokhara Office, has published the final result for the post of Mechanics under Nepal Engineering Service, Mechanical group, Construction Equipment Maintenance sub-group, Non-Gazetted Second Class (Technical). Based on the results of the written examination, practical examination, and interview for various advertisements under the open, women, Adivasi Janajati, and Madhesi categories, the Commission has made decisions regarding recommendation.
According to Notice No. 72/082-83, under Advertisement No. 12976/081-82 (Open), with 2 (two) required posts, only 1 (one) candidate passed the practical examination. Based on the total marks obtained in the written, practical, and interview examinations, Shubash Kumar Sah of Bara has been recommended for appointment at Shree Heavy Equipment Division, Pokhara, Kaski.
Under Advertisement No. 12979/081-82 (Madhesi), with 1 (one) required post, Ram Avatar Shah of Saptari has been recommended for appointment at Shree Yantrik Office, Dumre, Tanahun. In this group, Arjun Kumar of Sarlahi has been placed in the alternative order of merit. The notice states that 5 candidates were present in the interview under the Madhesi category, and 3 candidates had passed the practical examination.
No candidates could be recommended under the women and Adivasi Janajati categories. The Commission stated that candidates selected under Advertisement No. 12977/081-82 (Women) and Advertisement No. 12978/081-82 (Adivasi Janajati) could not be recommended because they failed the practical examination.

The Commission has stated that recommendation letters will be provided to the recommended candidates on 2082/10/18 at 10:00 AM. Candidates who passed the practical examination and appeared in the interview may view their marks on the Commission’s website for seven days, starting seven days after the result publication date, for another seven days.
