Public Service Commission Publishes Written Exam Results, Recommendations, and Re-Totaling Notices

The Public Service Commission, Central Office, Kamalpokhari—Written Examination Results Publication Section—has published notices covering written examination results under various advertisements, interview schedules, recommendations, re-totaling results, and the removal of a candidate from an interview list.

1. Medical Officer Written Examination Result and Interview Schedule

According to Notice No. 36/083-84, the result of the written examination conducted on 2083.1.4 and 5 for the post of Medical Officer, Eighth Level, Nepal Health Service, General Health Services Group, was published on 2083.4.5.

A total of 799 candidates appeared in the examination, of whom 44 were selected for the group test and interview.

2. Dental Surgeon Written Examination Result

According to Notice No. 37/083-84, the written examination result has been published for the post of Dental Surgeon, Eighth Level, Nepal Health Service, Dentistry Group, under Advertisement No. 17339—Women, with one post required.

The written examination was conducted on 2083.1.6 and 7. Of the 83 candidates who appeared, three were selected for the interview.

The group test and interview will be conducted on 2083.5.17 at the Public Service Commission, Central Office, Kamalpokhari.

Note: All candidates selected for the interview must arrive one hour before the scheduled time with two passport-size photographs, the originals of all certificates, two certified copies of each certificate, and their admission card. The program will proceed as scheduled even if the date falls on a public holiday.

3. Notices Regarding Recommendations

The Public Service Commission published recommendation notices for the following advertisements in its bulletin dated 2083.4.13:

4. Re-Totaling Notices

The Commission stated that there was no change in the results of candidates who applied for re-totaling after being dissatisfied with their written examination results. The previously published results remain unchanged.

5. Candidate Removed from the Interview List

Through Notice No. 31/083-84, dated 2083.4.05, the Interview and Recommendation Section of the Public Service Commission removed one candidate from the interview list.

Pabitra Kumari Puri—Roll No. 871260, Sudurpashchim Province—had been selected for the interview based on the written examination result published on 2083.03.17 for the post of Under Secretary or equivalent under Advertisement No. 16666/082-83—Internal Competition—Nepal Justice Service, Government Attorney Group, Gazetted Second Class.

It was found that the candidate had already been recommended by the Sudurpashchim Province Public Service Commission on 2083.02.11 for the post of Under Secretary/Director, Officer Ninth Level, Provincial Administration Service, General Administration Group. She had also been posted to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law, Dhangadhi, Kailali, on 2083.02.22.

The documents submitted by the candidate to the Commission showed that she continued to serve as a permanent civil servant. Therefore, under Section 38(3) of the Public Service Commission Act, 2079, the Commission decided on 2083.04.04 to cancel her application and examination and remove her name from the interview list.
