Rastriya Anusandhan Bibhag Publishes Research Assistant First Phase Result
Kathmandu, February 9, 2026 [Magh 26, 2082 BS].
The National Investigation Department (Rastriya Anusandhan Bibhag) has published the results of the first phase written examination for the post of Research Assistant (Anusandhan Sahayak). On Monday, the Commission’s Written Examination Results Publication Section in Kamalpokhari issued a notice and made public the list of successful candidates.
The first phase written examination was conducted on January 24, 2026 [Magh 10, 2082 BS] under Advertisement No. 2/082-83 (Open and Inclusive) for the Nepal Special Service, Non-Gazetted Second Class post of Research Assistant. A total of 3,557 candidates participated in the examination conducted across various examination centers nationwide.
Result Summary
From among the candidates who participated, 1,322 candidates have been selected for the second phase examination in roll number order. While publishing the results, the Commission has included the candidates’ roll number, full name, and the names of their father and grandfather.
Five Examinations Canceled
The examinations of five candidates have been canceled. The Commission stated that the answer sheets of candidates with roll numbers 1024, 1623, 2875, 2878, and 30613 were canceled for not mentioning “key” (Key) in the answer sheet.
Participation in the Second Phase
Selected candidates will be allowed to participate in the second phase examination on the basis of the same admit card as before. They must appear at the examination center designated by the Commission’s concerned office, carrying the existing admit card.
