TU Publishes B.Sc. Entrance Exam 2083 Result, Admissions Begin from Asoj 1
Tribhuvan University, Institute of Science and Technology, Office of the Dean, has published the B.Sc. Entrance Examination result for the academic year 2083 based on merit order. The result of the entrance examination conducted on Bhadra 27 was published in accordance with the decision of the Entrance Examination Conduct Committee dated Bhadra 31.
Along with the publication of the result, the Office of the Dean has issued detailed instructions to all campuses offering the B.Sc. program regarding admission and the commencement of classes.
Admission and Class Schedule

Admission begins: From Asoj 1, 2083. Campuses/colleges may publish second, third, and fourth admission lists based on merit order as required.

Orientation Program: Wednesday, Asoj 21, 2083.

Classes begin: From Asoj 22, 2083.
Rules and Documents Required for Admission

While admitting students, campuses must retain the transcript, a certified copy of the character certificate, the score card showing that the student has passed the Entrance Examination 2083, and the original migration certificate, and must admit students based on merit. Students must carry their entrance admit card and score card when going for admission.

Students who have passed the entrance examination but are unable to submit the required academic certificates at the time of admission must not be admitted. The entrance examination score of students who do not meet the prescribed minimum qualification will not be valid, and any admission granted to such students will be automatically cancelled.

Provisional admission is not permitted. However, students who have passed A Level from Cambridge University or other Boards and obtained the minimum required grade may be admitted if they submit a marksheet certified by the concerned college and a letter from the Curriculum Development Centre, Sanothimi, stating that the equivalence process is underway. If such students fail to submit the original certificates before the registration form is completed, their admission will be automatically cancelled.

Students who have passed +2 or an equivalent qualification from a domestic or foreign university/board other than Tribhuvan University must be admitted only after verification of equivalence along with the migration certificate.

The list of constituent and affiliated campuses offering B.Sc. General (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Statistics, Geology, Hydrology & Meteorology), Environmental Science, and Microbiology can be obtained from https://iost.tu.edu.np/. At the time of admission, campuses must inform students about the Major subject that will be taught in the fourth year.
Provisions for the Inclusive Quota

Of the prescribed admission quota at campuses, 20 percent of students will be admitted under the inclusive category and 80 percent through open competition, in accordance with Tribhuvan University rules.

Students seeking admission under the inclusive quota must have passed Grades 8 and 9 and the SLC/SEE level from a government community school, and must also have passed Grades 11 and 12 from a community school. If a student studied at a private school under a scholarship provided by the Government of Nepal, the original proof of the scholarship must be submitted.
Score Card and Withheld Results

Students can download their Score Card from the same website used to complete the application form.

The results of students whose required documents were incomplete when filling out the application form have been placed under “withheld” status. Such students can obtain their score cards by sending the required documents to the entrance examination email, bsc@iost.tu.edu.np, by Asoj 5, 2083.
The notice states that, after completing admissions, campuses must send the list of all admitted students to the Office of the Dean at info@iost.tu.edu.np by the end of Mangsir 2082.
