Budhanilkantha School Call to Apply for Scholarship notice  for Class 5 and 6

Government of Nepal, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and Budhanilkantha School, Kathmandu notice for scholarship examination under Budhanilkantha School and Partnership Program

Detailed information has been published in Budhanilkantha School, Kathmandu under the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology and in the schools participating in the partnership program for the needy children from deprived communities to study under the scholarship program free of cost or at concessional fees.

1) Students who have been born in 2067 BS or 2068 BS and have studied regularly in local community schools for at least 2 years and have completed class 4 studies in the academic session 2077 BS are represented by open competitive examination representing different geographical areas and target communities Students will be selected.

2) Students who were born in 2066 BS or 2067 BS and studied regularly in the local community school for at least 3 years before the scholarship examination could not be held due to Covid-19 last year. Students will be selected from the examination.

Application Form can be downloaded from www.bnks.edu.np or www.doe.gov.np and duly filled in the application form as prescribed and certified as prescribed and submitted along with the required documents at the appropriate examination center before the commencement of the examination.

Exam Date and Time: Shrawan 300, 2078 (14th August 2021), Saturday at 11:00 AM

Type of examination: Written

Syllabus:

  • For Class 5: Nepali, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and General Knowledge (GK) of Class 3 and 4 (40 percent objective and 60 percent thematic)
  • For Grade 6: Nepali, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and General Knowledge (GK) for grades 4 and 5 (40 percent objective and 60 percent subject)

Examination Centers: Ilam, Biratnagar, Hile (Dhankuta), Gaighat (Udaipur), Rajbiraj, Janakpur, Lalbandi, Kalaiya, Khurkot (Sindhuli), Dolalghat, Kathmandu (Budhanilkantha School), Hetauda, ​​Gorkha, Besisahar, Pokhara, Beni, Butwal, Ghorahi, Nepalgunj, Birendranagar, Chaurajahari, Jumla, Attaria and Dadeldhura

The number of open and reserved seats will be as follows (Class 5 and 6):

50% of the total seats will be for female students. One person from each district will be selected for open and reservation without duplication.

For Budhanilkantha School:

Open Seat: 20

Reservation Seat: 20 (Loponmukh-2, Dalit-4, Muslim-1, Madhesi-4, Adivasi / Janajati-5, Backward Area-2, and Conflict Victims-2) and within Budhanilkantha Municipality-2 1 (1 boy and 1 girl)

A total of 77 students will be selected so that the district will not repeat until the partnership school is available under the partnership program.

Application Fee: Rs. 100 (one hundred only)

The following documents should be submitted along with the application form:

(1) Application form duly signed and certified.

(2) Recommendation letter provided by the concerned ward office or local level for a scholarship, even if it is due to poverty.

(3) A copy of the birth registration certificate of the student provided by the local registrar.

(4) Class 4 pass certificate for class 5 and class 5 pass certificate for class 6.

(5) Copy of Nepali citizenship certificate of both the parents of the student. If the person other than the parent is the guardian, a certificate of disclosure of the relationship with the student from the official body and a copy of his / her citizenship certificate.

(6) A person who wishes to be a candidate in a reserved place shall have his last name in the list made public by the Government of Nepal

If necessary, a letter of recommendation from the concerned district administration office or the concerned official body should be submitted to prove that he/she belongs to the concerned community.

(7) A letter of recommendation from the ward office or local level relating to a person from a backward remote area who has so far been permanently residing in the same place and whose student has studied in a local community school.

(8) In the case of conflict victims, the certificate issued by the official body disclosing the proof that the parents are victims of the conflict.

(9) 2 recent passport size photocopies showing both ears.

P.S .: If the examination cannot be conducted within the stipulated time due to some adverse situation, the examination center and schedule may be changed. Information will be posted on the school's website www.bnks.edu.np.
