Film Studies Scholarship for Bachelor, Master, MPhil, and PhD

Scholarships provided by the Film Development Board Nepal to encourage film study, research, and scholarship; This notice has been published for all those who are eligible to study in the related subject, submit the application for the scholarship along with the specified evidence and documents from the researcher and researcher.

1. Doctoral Research Scholarship: 2 people doing a doctorate in film-related subjects

2. Darshanacharya Research Scholarship: Doing Darshanacharya on the film-related subject - 2 people

3. Postgraduate Scholarship:

(A) To do research work related to film - 2 persons

(B) Students who take elective papers related to film and also write research papers - 2 students

4. Undergraduate (Bachelor) Scholarship: For a total of 10 (ten) undergraduate students studying a major in film.

Open side: 5 (five) people
Towards reservation: 5 (five) people

(A) Madhesi, Dalit, and Janajati - 3 (three) people,

(B) On the women's side - 2 (two)

Short Course:

- Students studying a short course on a basic subject related to film - 2 students

The interested applicants should have registered the application online within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of the first publication of the notice (last date of application: 14th AShoj 2077 / Application Deadline: 30th September 2020) at the office of the Board or through email address [email protected].

The procedure to follow when filling out the form via email:

Subject ApplicationLevel_FirstName_Year_InstitutionName i.e. Bachelors_Shiva_2077_Oscar, Masters_Parvati_2077_TU etc. Should be mentioned.
The documents submitted with the application should be scanned and attached in PDF or JPG format (300 dpi).
When sending an application related to a student, all the documents to be attached should be attached in one email.
Students who apply online will be charged Rs. 10 (ten) postage stamp will have to be submitted.

Documents to be attached with the application form:

Application form with postage stamp of Rs. 10 (ten),
Copy of Nepali citizenship certificate,
Copies of educational qualification certificates,
A copy of the scholarship, if recommended by the local body, educational institution, or any other body,
Recommendation letter/certificate of the concerned body or commission for women, Madhesi, disabled, Dalit, Janajati, and martyr's family.
A copy of the approved research proposal in the case of postgraduate, philosophy, or doctoral level.
Also other documents including a recommendation for assistance for a scholarship.
