Kulturstudier Peace and Conflict Studies Scholarship 2027

The International Relations Center (IRC), Pokhara University, is pleased to share a scholarship opportunity offered by Kulturstudier, Norway, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) partner of Pokhara University, for interested students in pursuing the 10-Week Undergraduate Social Science Course in Peace and Conflict Studies in Pokhara, Nepal.

The program is conducted in partnership with Oslo Metropolitan University (OsloMet), Norway, and provides 30 ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) credits, which are internationally transferable.

Scholarship Coverage

The scholarship provides comprehensive support to selected students throughout the 10-week Peace and Conflict Studies program in Pokhara.

It covers tuition fees and required course literature, provides lunch on weekdays, and includes round-trip travel expenses to and from Pokhara. 

Recipients will also be provided with accommodation in a room shared with one or two other students and will receive a monthly allowance to help cover basic living expenses during their stay in Pokhara

Eligibility Criteria

1. Application Documents: Applicants are required to submit an updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) along with a motivation letter clearly describing their interest in the Peace and Conflict Studies program and explaining why they are applying for the scholarship.
