Ncell Axiata Ltd., a leading telecommunication company in Nepal, recently awarded the Ncell Scholarship and Excellence Award to exceptional students of the Institute of Engineering (IoE), Pulchowk.
As part of their corporate social responsibility, Ncell has been providing scholarships and excellence awards to outstanding students pursuing civil, electrical, electronics, communication, computer, and mechanical engineering courses.
The Ncell Scholarship and Excellence Awards for the year 2079 were conferred to 18 students of various engineering faculties, based on their academic performance in the first, second and third-year exams. In addition, 6 students with excellent results in the above-mentioned faculties were also presented with the Ncell Excellence Award.
The award ceremony took place at Ncell Icon, Lanchaur, the company's head office in Nepal, and was graced by the presence of Campus Chief Associate Prof. Dr. Indraprasad Acharya and Ncell CEO, Andy Chong.
The Ncell CEO expressed his delight in contributing towards the development of young talents and assisting in the achievement of the country's sustainable development goals.
The scholarship and excellence award recipients received a cash prize of Rs. 100,000 each.
