Ncell Foundation to Provide Scholarships to 100 SEE Graduates
Kathmandu. Ncell Foundation, in collaboration with Project Shiksha, will provide scholarships this year to 100 students who have passed the SEE for their studies in Classes 11 and 12.
Under the “Ncell SEE Scholarship,” students will be selected through written examinations conducted in all seven provinces and interviews. It has been stated that priority will be given to meritorious students who need financial support for higher education.
Students receiving the scholarship will also get free communication facilities from Ncell for 12 months, including limited data and voice services.
Ncell’s Corporate Communication and Sustainability Director, Vishakha Lakshmi Khadka, said that young people’s access to higher education should not be obstructed due to geographical conditions and financial circumstances. According to her, the objective is to support capable students who lack opportunities through province-level examinations and a transparent selection process.
Project Shiksha, run by Hundred Group, will also provide scholarships to an additional 50 students this year. The program has been in operation since 2017.
Last year, Ncell Foundation provided scholarships to 50 students from across the country under the same program. Those students are currently studying in Class 12 at various educational institutions across the country.
