Pakistan Government MBBS Scholarship for Nepali Students:

Government of Nepal, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Scholarship Branch, Keshar Mahal Urgent Notice about filling up the application form for the candidates who want to study for MBBS subject scholarship under the PTAP program.

Since the Government of Nepal has received 10 seats from the Government of Pakistan for the academic session 2020/2021 under the Pakistan Technical Assistance Program (PTAP) on MBSS; For nomination as per the rules by maintaining the following seats for general and reservation as per Scholarship Rules 2060 (with amendments).

Based on the result list of Tribhuvan University IOM for the year 2076 and the application of the candidates who have applied to the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology; From the interested candidates named in the Merit List published in the year 2076 on the website of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.

This notice has been published for the information of all concerned to send the application along with the required documents through the email [email protected] of the scholarship branch within the office hours from 2077 Ashoj 13 to 2077 Ashoj 19. The application format is attached herewith.

A) Number of seats obtained and group quota division:

Score:

1) At least 65% marks in HSSC of its equivalent after conversion from Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC).

Candidates are required to have secured at least 33% marks in Entry Test.

In lieu of Entry Test, Candidates are required to have passed the SAT-II examination with a minimum of "550" marks in each of the three subjects, of which two have to be biology and chemistry.

A foreign MCAT with a minimum aggregate score of 500.

3) In case, Medium of instruction is not English in the qualifying examination, then candidates will have to provide a valid TOEFL or IELTS score of 550 or 5.5 respectively.

Certification by National University of Modern Language (NUML), Islamabad after one year English Language Course. (NUML), Islamabad after one year English Language Course.

C. Condition of Admission:

a) Seats for foreign students are available in the institutions throughout Pakistan and the placement of students is done by EAD on the basis of merit, choice of students, and the availability of slots. Moreover, institutions are not bound to entertain the students after the expiry of their prescribed deadline.

b) The general eligibility /final selection of students will be made by the institutions concerned keeping in view their admission criteria.

c) Eligibility of students in terms of equivalence of certificates and grades will be determined by Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC), Islamabad. Concerned Embassies/students are bound to submit their equivalence certificates issued by IBCC, Islamabad along with their application forms.

d) The Student admitted under PTAP will be required to pay the prescribed fee applicable under the program to the institution concerned. Expenses on traveling, boarding, and lodging, etc. are also to be borne by students themselves.

e) Migration from one institute to another shall be governed by the relevant policy of the institutions concerned.

f) Exemption from tuition fee and other dues will be dealt as per the policy of the Institutions concerned.

D) Necessary documents to be submitted along with the application:

Copy of Nepali citizenship certificate - 1 place

Copy of Nissa of the application for the qualification order provided by the Ministry of Education - 1 place

Along with this, a photo with full details has also been pasted in the attached application

Scanned copy of transcript passed in class 12 or similar examination

In case of reservation: Fill in the above-mentioned documents and full details and in the application, you have to give a clear mark of which group you have applied for reservation and also mention the qualifications of the reservation list of that group.
