Pokhara University Call to Apply for Bachelor Level Scholarship in Various Courses

As per the Pokhara University Scholarship Regulations, 2065, candidates have to be selected from the open competition for free scholarship study in the affiliated and joint affiliated schools and colleges of Pokhara University; Applications are invited from low qualified Nepali citizens. Out of the scholarship quotas to be received by the university, 60 percent quota will be open and 40 percent quota will be reserved for the disabled, martyrs and people's movement injured victims, remote, dalit, janajati and Madhesi community.

50 and 50 percent scholarship quotas will be secured for women in both open and reserved scholarship quotas.

As per the rules in the free scholarship quota to be given to the university as mentioned, the quota is vacant even after the third phase (Scholarship Awarded List-III) scholarships have been distributed to the candidates who have passed SEE or SLC by studying at least 6th to 10th class in public schools and passed the scholarship selection entrance examination. Scholarships will be provided on merit basis to the candidates who have passed SEE or SLC by studying in public schools (except those who have studied from class 6 to 10) and institutional schools.

Candidates who have passed SEE or SLC by studying in public schools (except those who have studied at least from class 6 to class 10) and institutional schools will not have to submit any type of recommendation letter except the prescribed documents.

Candidates should deposit the prescribed application fee for each faculty in the bank account as per the details in the name of Pokhara University Central Office and submit the online application form along with the Transaction ID in the bank voucher. Transaction ID will be kept by the bank in the bank voucher.

Candidates will have to check whether the Transaction ID has been mentioned by the bank or not while taking a copy of the bank voucher.

The prescribed application fee can also be paid through Phone Pay or eSewa. When paying through eSewa, you have to choose Phone Pay Optional.

A voucher or screenshot of the amount paid and the Transaction ID must be mentioned and included when filling out the mandatory online application form.
