Durkhim Secondary School, Khotang (दुर्छिम माध्यमिक विद्यालय, खोटाङ) was established in 1979 AD (2036 BS) as a community based educational institution, which is situated in Durch Lamidanda, Khotang, Nepal. It is affiliated to the National Examination Board (NEB) and approved by the Ministry of Education. It offers educational programs from ECD to grade 10 and Plus Two (Class 11 and 12) in the Education streams.
Shree Durchim Secondary School is a higher secondary school located in Chapdanda village of Village Development Committee Durchim of Halesi Tuvachung Municipality Ward No. 5 Durchim Savik of Khotang District. Shree Durchim Higher Secondary School is considered to be the oldest secondary school in the western part of Khotang district.
The school was established in 2036 BS. The land for the building was given free of cost by Mr. Adimardan Raut in the name of the school. This is why new buildings have been constructed and now it has been converted into Shree Durchim High School. Students from Durcchim Higher Secondary School and Mahadevsthan to the east of Durcchim, Dikuwa to the east of Dhitung, Bahunidanda, Chasmitar, Badhare, and Mangaltar VDCs to the northwest used to come to study in this school to get secondary level education.
